Back Yard Space...

It may seem strange to say, but out of the 6 years we have lived in our home this is the first year we are getting to use the back yard. If you don't know this story you can read it here. Having said that I am so loving every minute of having this space. And so covet Making It Lovely's back yard space!
Swoon!
{via making it lovely}

So I am hoping to recreate it, along with a sitting area.
Doesn't it look inviting!
Here are the chairs and a table via Ikea.

I've been following her progress on her yard - she knows her stuff and it shows. I love the table and chairs!

I love, love, LOVE Nicole's backyard. Everything about it is just divine. I've been trying to convince myself that I can recreate this in my 24x24 yard, but secretly know it's just impossible. Good luck to you!

Oh my goodness, I just read your post about the dog and the yard. That is awful! My husband goes for a jog everyday on this specific loop around our neighborhood and there is a dog that has repeatedly scared him to death by jumping out and getting into an attack stance so my husband has resorted to placing a big stick on the ground near where the dog lives so that he can defend himself if the need arises. Goodness, I can't imagine not being able to use your own backyard because of a threatening dog!

Have fun playing back there this summer!!!
