I am thinking of adding some shelves to the living room and when I think of shelves I usually think of floating shelves. However, I have been considering the bracketed shelves too. What is your take, to bracket or to float?

Floating!!!
I like floating because they are seamless. You don't see the hardware.
I personally love floating shelves, but those brackets have come a long way!

Love the look of floating shelves but those brackets are so tempting. They might allow for heavier things to be on display too. I don't think you can go wrong w/ either!
