Room And Board...

If you have had the pleasure of visiting a Room and Board store you are a lucky one. Although I am not close enough to an actual store I do adore there designs. So classic and beautiful. I do however order there new catalog every year. I can't get enough of their swoon worthy designs and inspiration rooms. Here are just a few of my favorite things. There lighting is to die for, but I couldn't copy them all over for you to see. You will have to hop on over there and check it out!

Blair...

As most of you know I am a Cosmetologist! Blair finally has enough hair to actually have a style. So this is the style I whipped up for her. While she has pretty fine hair, this little cut works great for her! So I thought I might share with everyone. Since you don't get to see her often enough! LOL! 

Finally Master Bedroom....

After getting a new comforter by accident, and just all together ready for a bedroom spruce up the finishing results are in. I upholstered my own headboard back in December using some great online tutorials and a velvet curtain for the fabric. I love how it turned out. I feel like I am in a swanky place that isn't mine. I had planned on having matching end tables on either side of the bed, but had a bit of a tweek in my plan. Now each side has it's own personality and I am really happy with it. Having the steel blue curtains really gives the room a serene environment. The mirrors, lamps and tulip style table I picked up at Target. (my fav store) With three kids always in toe there aren't to many other places I venture out to on a regular basis. And why when Target is so great. 

The story on this side table: I ordered them from Ikea and when I received them and got them put together they were way to low. I knew that they would be on the shorter side but thought it might still work. Not even close. So my fix was to attach the two boxes together. Because I loved the look of the tables so much I hated to send them back. Once I got the two boxes attached together it was perfect. Bonus for me I get more storage. Below is what it looks like with the two tables attached together and below that is the  original version. 

This is the hubs side of the bed. I love this table and was really excited when I realized I could incorporate  it into our room . Plus he doesn't need the storage space on his side like I do for all of my stuff!

Last but not least is our lil sitting area. I am still working on that frame above. I am going to paint the frame black. Right now I have some paintable wall paper unpainted in the frame. But am thinking I will paint it my accent color of steel blue. Your thoughts?

Cabin Fever...

I think it is safe to say my little munkins are having a bit of cabin fever. We haven't been out since yesterday because of ice and snow. I was cooking lunch and came into the kitchen to this scene. They both had stripped off their pj's and rearranged my couch to make a slide of sorts! Looks like they are having a good time. AAAHHHH!

Winter Woes...

It is official, I dislike everything about winter. We could totally skip it all together and I would be just fine with that. What do I hate about it.
1. Preheating my car
2. Worrying if my kids are warm enough
3. Getting sick
4. Not being able to get outside and play
5. Snow and Ice
6. High bills
7. No leaves on the trees
8. Grey skies

I think that about covers it. Winter and I don't get along. Come on spring.

Black And White Bliss...

Just a lil eye candy! I lo-lo-love black and white! Although with my kiddos not so practical! One can dream can't she?

Because I'm A Girl...

Because a girl has got to look good I have been cruising around the net. Here are a few things I have come across. Although I am having a bit of spring fever already I don't see it coming any time soon. So I am steering clear of the spring previews, it would only make me sad about cold weather. I am really loving this purse I found at Esprit.

I was at first resistant to patent leather and have since found myself in love. I came across these shoes in this months issue of Lucky Magazine. I couldn't resist the shiny cuteness with the buckle on the toe! When I went to look them up at www.betseyville.com (Lexine is the name of the shoe) I found that they were on sale from $80 to $28! Wow!
