Getting Ready For Fall...

We put out our fall decorations this weekend. But before I could put the deco on the door, it needed a paint job. Sorry there is no before picture. It was a shade of red that has been driving me crazy for quite some time. When I would get out my fall decorations they would just blend into the door. So it was time for a change. It is now a dark grey. Much better! Also, I let the kids pick out some pumpkins for the porch and I purchased one of my very favorite type of pumpkins, a fairy tale pumpkin. (it's the one on the 1st step) To spice up our pumpkins a bit I painted the kids initial on each of their pumpkins.

Here is a close up shot at the new color on the door. You don't even know how happy having this stinkin' thing painted makes me.

I couldn't resist these scarecrows we came across while picking up our pumpkins. Aren't they sweet?

I think the highlight of the kids weekend, wasn't picking out pumpkins it was getting new bikes! =)

They rode their hearts out.

It took Jude a minute to get it. He kept hitting his brakes. Oh was he getting mad. But, after about 10 minutes or so he was off and going.

Blairie took right off, and hers has a bell. She loves that!

What to say about Rhett! He looks likes such a big boy. That tall bike, and him taking off like an ole pro made me want to cry. He was so excited!

I have several projects I am hoping to complete, if the rain stays away.  And am also going to pull out the fall decor.  I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

I'm Ready For Pumpkins...

• I have been itching to put out pumpkins, and this twist on the carved pumpkin hasn't helped matters any. Too cute, a monogrammed pumpkin! I think it will be a must do! I have a few other ideas for pumpkin decorating with the kids! Pictures to come!
