I'm a bit sad to say that other than blogs and magazines I haven't read a good book in a few months.
Then I heard about this book. I love a good book about Parenting or being a better wife. I think it's important to be aware of and nurturing the most important relationships in our lives. And it's easy to get caught up in the day to day and neglect each other.
I'll try to give a little review when I am finished.
And later this week...
A recipe, that is to die for!
I hope you are all having a wonderful start to your week.

I read that book a few years ago (before I got married) and I thought it was a very fun, quick, and insightful read! I hope you enjoy :)!
Looking forward to that review! Maybe your husband could read it too to determine whether it's true?

The books look very interesting, I'll look forward to your reviews. I just picked up a new book myself, The Help, after reading countless positive reviews on a bunch of different blogs!

What an interesting book, I look forward to your thoughts on it. Your recipe look yum, I can't wait to see what it ends of being.
Mise, I have been asking him a few questions and so far things are pretty accurate. There is also a mens version called "All about Women".
Sara, I am going to check out your book. =)
I have read this book...and it is very good! I will be interested in discussing this book with you once you have read it all the way through!

I totally agree about the books!!!!!!! I am going through "The Power of a Praying Wife" right now. Convicting stuff.
Can you please share more about your beautiful tin backsplash? Do you have more photos? Did you install it yourself? I've always wanted to do it in my own kitchen but I'm scared. :)
BC, that is a book I have been wanting to read too!
About the backsplash, you can find more photos of the kitchen by typing kitchen into the search bar. They are faux tin panels we purchased at Lowe's. They have several designs. I measured and precut them while the kids napped. Then I chose to use a pressure sensitive tape rather than the glue to attach them to the wall. I really like it! So much so that I have often thought I want to put it up in our next home too. Hope that helps, if you have any other questions about it let me know. =)
LOVED that book.
