I love these children's silhouettes! And finally decided to make a DIY version of my own.
I started with the mug shot profile shot.
Then cut them out, very carefully. And unfortunately then my camera died. So no pics for the next step.
I had some craft paint and Blair of course got pink and the boys, blue.
I painted each photo, let them dry and used double sided tape to attach each photo to the center of some cut to size white card stock.
And the finished product. I really think I would like white frames, but I had these laying around.
I am also considering adding their names underneath each photo.
What do you think, name or no name?
This would be cute to do with your pet too!

they look great! love the colors:)
definitely names!
so cute.. definitely names so they can have them when they get older and pass them on to their kids! Maybe do their name in Stencils!!
I LOVE these! They are so modern and glam and all things that I love. ;)Great job! I was contemplating doing these of Nathan and I in our bedroom but we both HATE our profiles so we opted out.
I love this project! Yours turned out great :)
Love them! They are great! I say add the names. I may have to try this out with our dog as you suggested!
These are incredibly sweet.
I don't have children, but I wonder if my dog would pose instead?
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such kind words!

I think with names, as a counterpoint to the abstraction. They look great - very chic!
Adorable! You are so crafty! I think they look great as is, but I'd love to see the names added, too.
LOVE this. I am going to give it a try. And my vote is a yes on the name! I see it with a fantastic lowercase cursive font.
These are precious. I had a silhouette of my son done as a baby and I still treasure it. It's hanging in a wall arrangement in our hall way. I can see these becoming a family heirloom.
I love them. They are just perfect!
SUCHHHHH a cute project!
Jesse you just amaze me everyday! It think you should totally put the names!
Those turned out so cute! I've always wanted to do silhouettes with my kiddos too, but I wasn't really sure how! Thanks for sharing!
Love these and your blog too! Glad to have found you!
