I really missed the texture my gloss stripes added to our entry wall after repainting. So this weekend I went back in and added them. I had originally painted the wall in a flat finish, so it was super easy to go back and add the stripes. Tape off the size you want and paint. Last time around I had stripes all the way up and down on the wall. This time, however, I added only 2. A larger stripe and a smaller one. Just to jazz it up a bit. I went with a Gloss finish. I have always loved stripes, but sometimes don't love them in different colors. So by doing them in the same color and different finishes it give me some texture without being over the top.

What about the vinegar part of the title? Well I was not aware that if you put a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in the water of your fresh flower it will keep them looking pretty longer. Those flower are 2 weeks old.
Hope your all having a great Monday!

And thanks for the vinegar tip!
Thanks girl, I could easily go overboard and have stripes in every room I love them so much.
I've been going on and on about how much I love gray and especially gray walls lately. This is another great example. It looks fabulous! Oh, and I really need to use that vinegar trick. I never remember(!)
