Okay, I have gone back and forth about this chair. While I love slipper chairs, I have to have some arms just in cast I want to lay sideways, lol! I also don't want to spend to much right now with the kids so young. And lastly this is slip covered, so it's washable. What to you think? Is it a do?
It's an Ikea special.

love it!
i think it's great, especially if it's washable! good luck!
I like the colour and cover, but for me it's just a bit too enclosed and unfriendly.
Thanks for following my blog. I LOVE yours!!
I've looked at that Ikea chair about a dozen times. I just can't act on it. It's not really comfortable and the shape is just off. We ended up buying chairs from Boston Interiors (also slipcovered to help with kids and dogs). They were a bit more expensive (but not as bad as PB, etc.) I'm ridiculously happy with the decision and they won't need to be replaced in a few years.
if it's washable, and you really love it, i would get it. it is such a cute chair & looks really comfy :)
Nice post you got here. It would be great to read a bit more concerning this theme. Thanx for giving that data.

I likie!
I have always liked those chairs, and liked them even more when I saw them on Pure Design: http://www.decorpad.com/photo.htm?photoId=11758.
Emily, I have seen that photo, but had forgotten about it. Thanks for posting it. Makes me love the chairs even more. Now if I can make the drive down to Dallas to get them.
Love it! Saw one in this same shape at Home Goods in RED leather and fell in love right away...would have been perfect for my OK bedroom...my NC bedroom, not so much! SO I say YES! and add a punch of color with pillows and/or a throw...just my 2 cents.
Kim, that is exactly what I was thinking. I would jazz them up with some cute pillows!
