A Decorators Oath...

Every once in a while you come across something that will keep you in line. And today while doing my daily blog reading Lavender and Lilies was helping to decorate a fellow bloggers apartment. In doing that she posted an oath I would like to share with you.

Lavender and Lilies Oath for Decorating

"I will furnish and decorate my home slowly and intentionally

with items that I love and items that I can use for a long time. I will not buy

items to simply fill the space. I will not be afraid to leave portions

empty until I can find the pieces that I love and that will carry me

for a long time to come".
