I posted recently of my affections for these lamp shades. I took a trip to Target and left empty handed, I had to sleep on it and make sure I REALLY wanted them. You know when you come home and can't stop thinking about something, that was me. Then I came across this photo and it sealed the deal, I was going back to Target first thing in the morning to get those lamp shades.
I am really enjoying the pop of color they added to the soothing color palette in our bedroom.

I adore Sarah Richardson! Her style is so inspiring for me. This is by far my favorite room of the Sarah Richardson remodel. It wouldn't have anything to do with the light air color palette I'm sure. {pink!!} Such a crush on pink lately! I would not consider myself a pink girl either. As a matter of fact in years past I wouldn't wear it or even think about using it to decorate with. Funny how your style changes isn't it?
I am sure Josh would love it if I brought more pink into our home. LOL, really he hasn't complained yet. Wouldn't this pillow look so cute with my new Chevron pillows!?
I just can't get over how completely charming this kitchen (via Southern living) is! I am swooning over every little thing. The curtains, the open shelves in place of upper cabinetry...
And her dining room, ugh, LOVE! What a great mix of pieces.
I especially like kitchens that bring in a free standing piece that is different from the cabinet color. Here she has the hutch that brings up the floor color and provides such a nice contrast to the cabinetry.
Today I thought I would share one of the frames I painted last week. I hope to finish it out as a chalkboard, but will have to wait til the weather warms up a bit. I found this gorgeous frame in Hobby Lobby in the 60 percent off isle. Yay! Even though it is not yet complete I hung it in the dining room when I intended to hang it when it was all finished. I have to say I am really kind of loving it just as it is! HMMM What to do? To finish it or not to finish it?

A good friend of mine sent me a text the other day with a photo of these pillows. I knew right then I had to have them for my living room. I think they make a great addition. And they are double sided with a bird and rosette on the other side. Found at Target!

I am also having pillow envy! What a great mix of patterns that all work so well together. If I could be so brave... I love all of the colors. Might just have to do my best to recreate this look!
Okay, I have gone back and forth about this chair. While I love slipper chairs, I have to have some arms just in cast I want to lay sideways, lol! I also don't want to spend to much right now with the kids so young. And lastly this is slip covered, so it's washable. What to you think? Is it a do?
After finding out last weeks coffee table favorite was glass =(, I am thinking this is a nice option.
I like the chunkiness of it, and my space could handle having a square coffee table. I love this photo too, because my sofa is the same color as these and I have been really been considering going white with the coffee table.
I have had quite the obsession with all shades of mustard lately. And this rug is sure pulling at my heartstrings.
These next two photos I first saw via Haven and Home, and just had to pass along incase you didn't catch them. I am LOVING this chair. As my son would say... She's a beaut!

I mentioned earlier this week that I was doing some rearranging in the living room. I have it all moved around like I think I want it. And along with the new lamp I purchased I am thinking I could now accommodate a coffee table. So I have been eyeing this one from Ikea... that is until I read the "Good to know" it said Handle with care! A strike, knock or scratch can cause the glass to crack suddenly.
OH! Well then, count me out, because I can see one of the kids coming through with their toy hammers and telling me it needed to be "fixed". Oops. =)
I guess I'll keep looking.

I really do adore some of the things that they sneak into PB Teen. And I so look forward to the day when Blair has a space of her own to decorate. We will see if our styles are similar or not. Should be interesting. Until then here are a few of my more grown up faves that you could certainly mix into your adult spaces.
I am going to try some new running shoes. I have been researching shoes a bit and have been very intrigued by the Nike Free 5.0. So I got some, today. Loving the feel of them so far. Do you have a particular shoe you like? Have you tried these?
We also made one our weekly or maybe bi-weekly trips to Target, and I have to say, this isle makes me happy! So many pretty things. I never tire of strolling up and down the isles. They had some pretty oversized white coffee cups on sale for $1.50, so I picked up 4. Yay! I broke it in with some hot chocolate last night.
I have been organizing, like everyone else, and also rearranged my living room. With my new set up I can finally bring in a lamp without fear of it getting knocked over by one of my sweet and never rambunctious children. I also scored some vintage looking soup bowls with a sweet bird print on them. But I have yet to get a photo to share them with you. Gosh I sound like I have been doing some major shopping. Gotta love Christmas money and a discount store (lamp, bowls)!

I am going to have to have one of these huge letters for my front door. But not just for Christmas, for all year long. I love how good that gold looks against the black door. I'll just have to figure out what color I want my letter to be on my newly painted grey door.
While I will not be hosting Thanksgiving at my home, I do appreciate a beautiful tablescape. Maybe one of these days I'll stop the madness that comes from trying to be so many places in one day and host our own Thanksgiving. Then I will give one of these lovely tables a try. Do you host or travel to be with family on Thanksgiving?
When was the last time you went to Macy's? Do you ever wander around in the furniture section? Everywhere I go I am pushing a double stroller, so I am always on the hunt for the elevators. I know where they are in ever department store. While on a recent trip to the mall and on our trek to find the elevator I found myself in the furniture department in Macy's. So I thought to myself, I'll just take a peek around while I am back here. I am needing wanting a chair for our living room. Just look what I came across. They really had some nice pieces. I hate to say but most of the furniture store around here don't have a lot of variety, so I was pleasantly surprised. Here are a few fabulous finds.
