Family Traditions...

Before we had children one of our favorite things to do it take a weekend drive. Or on the spur of the moment take a little road trip. While, now post babies, the road trips are less frequent the Sunday drive is becoming a tradition. This past weekend we ended up at the lake. The kids could hardly wait to get out of the car . Oh did they have a ball, running on the sand and trying to skip rocks on the water. I feel so blessed to be creating these memories with my family. They are so much fun!

The face we got when her rock sunk rather than skipped. =)
 This just make me laugh!

Can you see the white puppy in Rhett's hand? He got it for Christmas and it has been his best buddy, going everywhere he goes.
What are your fun weekend or any time traditions?

Those photos are really lovely! Our weekend tradition seems to be going to a new park every Sunday afternoon. It's always an adventure to find a good one!

What a face - such sincere and child-like disappointment. You'd just want to give them everything to make it better.

Family traditions are so important, I think. We go to Camp Mather in Yosemite every year with my hubs family. We love it as do the kiddos.
Your kids look so happy and your little lady is too cute!

What beautiful pics and I just love these kinds of traditions! Our latest tradition is going out for Saturday morning breakfast...the small Mom & Pop diners are our favorite.

Love the pic of your shadows holding hands!

You really shouldn't post pics of your girl like that. It just makes her even more adorable. I can't stand it!

Your pics look so fun! Makes me want to take an impromtu to the lake.

I love the pictures, so fun! :) We usually go out for coffee on the weekends...does that count as a tradition?
