Much Ado About Nothing...

Why does my kitchen have to go from neat and tidy to this soooo quickly! Ugh, dishes are never ending.  On a side note though I did get a new faucet if you can see past the sink full of dishes! We have had a few new little additions to the house this past week. One was a new ceiling fan/ light fixture in the living room. WOW, does it make a difference! It's like the rooms jewelry.

Are you gearing up for Valentine's Day? Making plans? We haven't done much the last few years. But this year we are going to cook with some friends. Which got me to thinking, should I bring a host gift? If so what should I bring? Any ideas?

I had to show you the birds I found at Michael's over the weekend. I thought they were sweet. I love the detail.

Some lovely ingredients for another day? Thing like olive oil, jam, jars of apricots or roast vegetables?

I like to bring a bottle of kitchen soap from Bath and Body works....it is something everyone will use and will remind them of you each time they wash their hands. Want to spend a little more? WilliamsSonoma has some lovely soaps too!

I think that since we had a baby, our dishes have multiplied by ten! Cute birds!

Ooh I love those little birds! I actually just got a pair of birds like that at JoAnn's, but they don't have the pretty design, and they each sit on a column. And I love the faucet! Our sink has problems too, but we just have one big basin, and it's so small, so it seems like it's always overflowing!

Why Why why do dishes always show up as soon as you just put them all away? I wonder this every day.
