Jewelry Organizing...

Do you remember when I made these before Christmas?

I used one of them to hang some jewelry. Such an improvement on my previous organizing method or lack there of. Can you tell how much I am loving gold?
And I have a few left over from the holidays. If you are interested drop me an email.

I love your pretty necklaces - great taste. Are those just regular thumb tacks holding them in place?

Love it! I've been thinking of doing something similar ~ currently, my necklaces are hanging on nails in the closet ~ not very attractive! Thanks for the inspiration :)

I love love love this. Looks great, works great.

I was thinking that See Jane Work's Basic Push Pins would be really pretty on a board like this, too.:

And no, I don't work for See Jane Work, I'm just obsessed.

Very cute! I need to do something like this to organize my jewelry (and I've totally been into gold jewelry lately - I particularly love the necklace on the right!). I've also wanted to make a few cork boards for my new office by recycling a few frames. Would you mind sharing how you did this? I assume one can pick up a piece of corkboard at a craft store and just cover it with fabric - or was there something more to it? Thanks!

MV, they are just regular thumb tacks. I need some cute ones. Meredith sent a link of some to check out in third comment.

Thanks Meredith! I will check them out!

Sara, I purchased a 11x14 frame from a discount store, took out the glass and spray painted it. I then cut some cork tiles to size and cover it with some linen fabric. I found the ribbon trim and used fabric glue to attach it. Hope that helps you in your crafting!
