Fingerprint Friday...

This past week our world is changing. The shop that I have been working at will be closing and I have had emotional decisions to make. And after 11 years of doing hair will be staying home full time with my children. It is bitter sweet. After making the decision to homeschool, yet still work part time I feel as though this is the Lords way of telling my what my priority should be. My children, and rightfully so. I look forward to this journey with my family. And thank the Lord for showing me the way. I love this photo of Rhett, because it seems to represent the journey we will be traveling together.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and be courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."  Joshua 1:9

If you would like to participate or view other fingerprints visit Pampering Beki.
Thank you Beki for another opportunity to reflect.

Congratulations! I made that decision last year, and it was the BEST one I ever made. Enjoy your children. They are beautiful!

That sounds like a tough choice to make - I'm a little jealous of the ability you have to see the Lord's fingerprints always in your life. Good luck with home schooling!

Meredith, I know it is hard in such a fast paced society to have time to reflect on our lives. I have to sit back and look at all the positive things going on around me. I really try to listen to where God is leading me in my life. Blessing to ya girl!

What a courageous decision to make! I imagine that, as much as you love your kids, it wasn't a decision made without much thought. I always think that it must be so hard a mom--loving your kids/family and wanting to be with them, but also wanting a part of your old life back, too (or a part of the old you). Please keep posting about your transition. :)
