Summer Desert...

What makes the best Strawberry Shortcake...

Well good little helpers of course! =)

Today we did a super easy Bisquick recipe.

4 c. fresh strawberries

1/2 c. sugar

2 1/3 c. Original Bisquick mix

1/2 c. milk

3 Tbsp sugar

3 tbsp butter, melted

1 container whipped cream

Mix strawberries and 1/2 c. sugar, set aside. Heat oven to 425.

Stir Bisquick mix, milk, 3 tbsp sugar and the butter until soft dough forms.

Drop by 6 spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Split warm cakes; fill and top with strawberries

and whipped topping!

Super quick and easy. My type of recipe!

While I won't bore you with every detail, here are the highlights.

Yes that stone is clean, the darker the better. Just ask
my pamper chef lady!!
Helping to sugar our strawberries.

What is this little helper doing? Stinker...

MMMM... The finished product.
Yay for summer food.

Looks yummy! Your house looks so pretty. Hey, have you seen those black and white damask square ottomans at Target? You might just have a spot for them somewhere in your house!?!?
