Working On Making A Mess...

So today I felt like I did a lot and really got no where. How does that happen? I am, against my better judgement have a garage sale this weekend. I RREEEEEAALLLY don't want to. But I have all of these large things and baby things that I just have to. Plus, bonus...I will have made money. WAHHOO. So I spent most of the day pricing things and making a big ole mess. Then staring blankly at my living room with no real ideas thus far of where I want to go with it. Some areas I have down and others I am getting decorators block. Ever happen to you? How annoying. Anyhoo, then I came across the prettiest picture. And it made me feel all spring and relaxed. Thank goodness for inspiration therapy...

Garage sales are a lot of work, and I hear you on the messy part. It is always worth it to me to have people pay me to take the stuff I don't want anymore off of my hands.

Beautiful inspiration picture. That looks like a great place for mommy to relax.

Hmmm. What time and days are you having your garage sale? Keegan and I just might make the stroll around the block. Wouldn't it be nice to have a white sofa? Maybe when the kids go off to college. ;)

Nikki, I am usually like that too! This time around I have to many things I could get some decent $ out of. This way I can go and get those ikea dining chairs!

Shannon, we are planning to do fri and sat. Come by if you get a chance! Yeah, I think there is hope for a white couch once the kids are out of the house!

Thanks Linds!

Jesse, I didn't mean it was too much work that I wouldn't do it. I'd do it in a heartbeat if I had enough good stuff to make it worth it. They are still a lot of work, but usually very worth it.I usually have one when there is something that I really want (furniture) or a room I'm ready to redo.

Nikki, I knew what you meant. I just hope everything sells and I have my new chair money! :)

I am so in to the hot pink accents right now myself! I just bought beautiful hot pink peonies for our living room-- they go great up against a pale blue wall. Your love is great-- how did you change the background if you don't mind me asking? I'd like to give our blog page an updated look.
