Questions...

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day!  Ours was little get away as a family. Which reminds me of another question I received during the giveaway. How did you come up with the names for your children? We were married 5 years before we had Rhett, and when we found out we were pregnant with him we were so excited! Then the quest for the perfect name. I always wanted something different but not strange. I love all the old names coming back! If it was a girl it was going to be Ava. I was having the hardest time with a boy name. Seems so many boy names the girls are using, and I wanted something masculine. One weekend we had went out for a drive and were driving down an area of Tulsa that we frequent when I saw a salon with Rhett in the title (fitting isn't it) that I had seen a million times when it dawned on me Rhett, oh I like that! So it stuck Rhett Morgan it is.

When less than two years later we found out we were pregnant again with twins, we were excited and a bit overwhelmed and now had to come up with not one but two names. So initially we were thinking we would stick to an all R theme. What we came up with were Reid and Rorian, (Rori). But I was having that feeling that something was just not right. I had always loved the name Jude. It was on that list you make of baby names you think are cute that one of these days you might use. So was Blair. I knew I wanted to use Jude and am so glad I did. Jude is such a Jude. I cannot seem him as anything else. Little Jude London!
Blair was a different story, we kind of went back and forth between Blair,Claire and Stella. So in the end we settled on Blair Olivia! What a tough little cookie! She lives in a house with two brothers. I am into what the meaning of names are. So that went into our baby naming decisions. Thanks Freckles Chick for the question. It has been fun to think back about naming my sweeties.

I LOVE, love, love this post!! All of those names you considered are so unique and beautiful (just like your kiddos). They're classic, yet modern, and not trendy (I cringe at some of the celeb baby names out there).

Thank you for answering my question =)
