Memorial Part 2

Here are just a few fun pics of the kids over the weekend! They love it outside! Being with
them all the time spoils me. I miss them terribly even when I am with them.

Memorial Weekend...

Several times a week we go get our exersize at the River Parks. There is a newly done trail and a few bridges that cross the water. We have beening going there several years now and have never stopped to take any pictures. I think these would make great black and whites. And of course will always be fond memories!

Humorous Someday...

I know one of these days I will laugh, just not yet. The twins, I have mentioned, have figured out how to get out of their beds. Well at first it was only at nap time. We have now graduated to bed time also. I went in to find Jude in bed with Blair. Boy are they good climbers! So of course "out you go" I say "back to your own bed". After a few times I thought maybe he just wants to be with her after all they are twins. No they just wanted to play. I lost count how many time they got up, but when 11:00 P.M. was looming I was getting pretty tired of the whole situation. Hopefully this is only going to be a faze. A short one. Any suggestion, I am all ears!

Family Fun Time!

My Husband...

I just wanted to gush a bit about my hubby if I may. Josh and I have know each other our whole lives. We went to day care together, and road the school bus together. My tomb boy sister even played football with him. I was way to shy for any boy talk. I was getting ever so slightly more brave once we got into middle school to talk to him a bit, but it wasn't until high school that we really connected. We started dating when I was a freshman and he was a sophomore. He was a wrestler and I was a cheerleader, how All-American! We dated all through High School, and got married between Josh's Sophomore and Junior year of college. One of the best days of my life. He is my best friend. Always encouraging me, and building me up. I cannot tell you what an awesome influence and inspiration he has been to me in my life. He is a true partner. I have really gotten to watch him grow as a man, as a father, and as professional. He is a true partner. We challenge each other, and dream together. And as blessings would have it we are always looking to go in the same direction. Thank you Jesus! We will celebrate our 9 year wedding anniversary this year(14 years together and 3 beautiful kids). I am so thankful to have a best friend and life partner like Josh! I love you Josh! Thanks for all you do.

For the love of Decor

So... I have this completely crazy passion for decorating, that I don't think I have mentioned thus far. I adore HGTV and Home magazines! With our move coming soon, my hubby and I have decided to get rid of most of our things and just start over. YAY! My style has evolved over the years so there are some pieces I would really like to replace. Namely the entertainment center, dining table, bed, night stands and a complete overhaul of the office! Let me just tell you how much I look forward to the make over. I have learned though that this is a process. It may take me some time to find the right pieces. And of course the possibility of a new color scheme in the new home sends me in decorating dream land. Right now my love of brown and blue rules the house. I am not sick of it yet, either. Well that's it for now! Time for the fun part...Research!

Escape Plan

Well today my 2 year old twins decided that instead of napping that they would crawl out of their beds and try and play oh so quietly in their room. Caught! Back in bed you go, again and again. Two year olds with no nap is not a pretty sight. So I plan to have a fun evening. Two 2 year olds, two attitudes, lord be with me!

The Sweetest Thing...

Okay, the sweetest thing happened today! I had turned on a sermon from Ed Young and was watching this afternoon while the kids were there playing. All of the sudden I heard Rhett say to Jude "thank you Jude for sharing your toy with me, your the best Jude ever!" Is that not the best thing you have ever heard. Awesome! Rhett is already speaking increase, and building his brother up! I just can't tell you what a proud moment that is for me. We speak to all the kids that way and in turn Rhett is speaking to his siblings that way! What an awesome thing to pass down the generations! Lifting each other up. Every word you say and the way you say it influences your child. You only get on shot! Make it an uplifting one!
